The market for fresh food suppliers to love income families is growing. According to the USDA, there are over 40 million people in the United States living in poverty. This number is expected to grow in the coming years. Additionally, the number of people living in food deserts in also increasing. Food deserts are areas where access to fresh, healthy food in limited or nonexistent. This creates a need for fresh food suppliers to low income families.
For the competitive analysis, the landscape for fresh food suppliers to low income families is relatively small. There are a few large companies that provide fresh food to low income families, but there is still room for new entrants. The competitive advantage of this business will be its focus on providing fresh healthy, and affordable food to families in need.
